Trip 57: Dinner in Printer's Row

My brother Kevin was visiting for the weekend. On Friday after work we went downtown for dinner and to see a couple of landmarks.

1. Clarence Buckingham Fountain and Garden

We took the bus to Millennium Park and then walked to Grant Park to see Buckingham Fountain. Kevin wanted to see the new landscaping around the fountain. The biggest change is that the gravel area around the fountain has been replaced with brick pavers. It's a nice improvement.

Luckily we arrived just as the fountain was shooting at it's highest level.

2. Printing House Row District

Next, we walked to Printer's Row and had dinner at a Mexican restaurant. There are still a couple of publishers located in the area, as well as a couple of book stores.
