On Tuesday morning I had a client meeting on Chicago Avenue. After the meeting I drove a little west to the Goldblatt Bros. Department Store building. Probably the most interesting aspect of the building is the white terra cotta facade. Also, Chicagoans old enough to remember seem to have fond memories of Goldblatt's. It was before my time in Chicago so I can't comment.
Today the building is occupied by the City of Chicago and a public library branch.
