Trip 44: Bissell Street District

On my way running some errands on Sunday morning I drove to Bissell Street. It's very near the DePaul campus. The district is another beautiful, tree-lined residential street in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. I guess what makes this street special is that the homes are primarily large, red brick duplexes of a few repeating designs. A couple of the designs include mansard roofs that really add presence to the block.

I liked the detail on this wrought iron fence.

  1. I love this area, makes total sense they're considered historic.
